Very sorry to hear of Gary’s passing! It was a pleasure knowing and working him over many years in the Service! Also enjoyed our time playing BBall on several Service teams. Gary was a true professional and fabulous athlete. Prayers for Gary and his family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Joyce & Family, We just learned of Gary's passing this morning. Our sincere condolences to you and your entire family. As you may remember, Gary and I were intense high school basketball rivals and later became teammates while serving in the Secret Service. While stationed in the SYRFO we formed up a basketball team and played/barnstormed in upstate New York against other LE agencies or anyone who would take us on. He was sensational. We played a lot of roundball in DC while assigned there as well. If I recollect correctly, he also played a summer of semi pro baseball up in Quebec while in college. Gary DeYulia was a great athlete, teammate, Secret Serice Agent, friend, and a better man. RIP John Gannon

Gary was a true gentleman. We briefly worked together at GSA and he was very professional and effective. We met in Tiburon three years ago, and he had not changed one bit. He was a pleasure to be with.

I'm very sorry about Gary's passing. We started in the Secret Service on the same day in 1968. Ten of us were a part of a new 6 month training program and we all became friends. We always seemed to stay in touch during our time in the Service and for a long time after we retired. Gary was a great guy and easy to laugh with. He'll be missed. Dennis Chapas
