I'll always remember Aunt Dorothy's sweet smile and sense of humor. When visiting the family, she would always ask if anyone wanted a bottle of "pop." She didn't understand why we thought that was funny. I loved to hear her Northern accent! When living in Syracuse for a summer, she once taught me to make a homemade pie. While making the pie, she would share stories of her and Dad's childhood and their parents. She will always be one of my favorite people! Dodee and Martha, may your memories of your mother comfort you during this difficult time of loss.

Your mom was a fantastic teacher. I had her for fifth grade at Cherry Road and she was so much fun. I still have some dear friends from that class, she certainly made sure all of her students listened, learned and got along. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'm keeping her in my prayers.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother. I was fortunate to have "Mrs. Mc" for fifth grade at Cherry Road and she still remains one for my favorite teachers throughout all of my schooling. She was firm but fair and she made school fun. She always had a sense of humor about things even when the class got out of hand. Thank you for sharing her with us.
Sincerely,
Lisa M. Stahl (Bochan)

Dear Mac and Dodee, Your Mom was a terrific lady and a warm and caring teacher. I love this photo of her. It is the way I remember her - that direct look and that little smile. I miss your Dad too. May your happy memories of them serve as a blessing in your lives.

It has been many, many years since I had Mrs. McIntyre as my 3rd grade teacher at Cherry Road. Even after all these years she stands out as the best teacher I ever had. She had a way of making learning fun. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a great lady.
