Grandpa, You were truely the best grandfather a girl could have!! And a wonderful great grandfather to my children!!You were such a funny man with lots of jokes and funny phrases which will be in my memories for ever!!! I will remember forever when you would pretend my name was not MIchelle and that it was Skanell!! And every dog you would have his or her name was Nicky!! I will always remember your cookie jar that always had cookies waiting for us when we would come over and visit you!! And when You would come to our house all the time for years and have coffee with my mom and play with us grandkids!! You were a great man!!! LOL You made each grand kid feel special in their own way! And with that said you will be in my heart and memories forever!! YOu will be forever loved and never forgotten!! I have only great memories that will live with me forever!!I love you always grandpa and I know you will be watching over us!! RIP Grandpa Love Skanell!!

i remember when me and my mom lived with him and i used to wake up in the morning and have tea with him...he used to call me his lil tea woman...i also remember when he would babysit us and tease about mom not coming home...he would have me watch scary movies with him and i would always get candy from him.i miss u grandpa but i no that ur in heaven shinning down on us...i will never forget our time together...u were a great grandpa to us...i miss u dearly and i will always love u ...bye grandpa!

My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this sad time. Your dad came into Price Chopper in Western Lights every month to cash his SS check. We always look forward to seeing him because he was always so funny. Whenever he saw me behind the desk he would ask me how I was doing. He never had a bad word and he always waited patiently in line to cash his check. He was always a kind and special person and always had a smile on his face. He will be sorely missed.

I have so many good memories of you, & i will cherish them forever..& someday share with my kids.
