Obituary of Virginia Jean Schultz

Virginia "Jean" Schultz November 1, 2010 Virginia "Jean" Nadolski Schultz, 84, of Lakeland, passed away Monday. Jean spent her life caring for her family and everyone who knew her. A life resident of the Syracuse area, she worker at Aetna Insurance, General Electric, Iroquois China, and retired from Syroco. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church, a member of the Altar Rosary Society, and was a longtime member of the Lakeland Seniors. Survivors: Herman Schultz, her loving and devoted husband of 64 years. Her daughters, Christine (Donald) Mix, Virginia (John) Poppe, Frances (Paul) Sokolowski; her devoted son, Steven Schultz; and her loving cat Bootsie; seven beautiful grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady Of Peace Church, 203 Halcomb St, Lakeland. Burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the local SPCA, www.cnyspca.org.
