Obituary of Marie McMahon

Marie McMahon, 83, of Fairmount passed away Sunday, at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Auburn, she was raised in Cazenovia and attended Cazenovia High School. Marie was a longtime foster parent for Catholic Charities. She enjoyed going to Las Vegas in the winter months and was a bingo enthusiast. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Patrick in 2006 and grandson, Johnny McMahon in 2008. Survivors: her loving husband of 64 years Jack McMahon; her children, John McMahon, Bob McMahon, Joseph (Michelle) McMahon, Tina McMahon; 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 8 brothers and sisters; aunt, Helen O'Dell many nieces and nephews. Services: 10:00 am Thursday at Holy Family Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY.
