Obituary of Lila C. LaRue

Lila C. LaRue, 103, of Syracuse passed away peacefully Monday. Born in Canastota, she was a graduate of Canastota High School. Lila retired from Kemper Insurance after many years. She was a former communicant of St. Mary's Church in Minoa. Lila was predeceased by her husband, John Edward LaRue and her daughter, Janet. Survivors: son, Loren (Harriet Botz) LaRue of Fairmount; grandchildren, Lisa (Rob) Wolniak, Craig (Stacy) LaRue, Richard (Christine) Sabin, Edward Deaver, Christopher Deaver; 8 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church, Minoa where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa. Calling hours will be 5 to 7p.m. Friday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, 401 N. Main Street, Minoa, NY 13116.
