To the LaForce Family: Mr LaForce was my 9th grade Math teacher at Porter School. I loved Algebra class and thought I wanted to follow in his footsteps as a Math teacher. Calculus was my undoing, but, although he was not my teacher while I was at Corcoran, he did patiently attempt to help me on a number of occasions. He was a great guy and one of the few teachers that made a lifelong impression on me. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I met Hal when I was a junior player at Pine Grove CC and played many rounds with him as well as other junior players. He had a smooth easy swing very similar to PGA Pro, Julius Boros. A good man and fun to be around. God Bless.

Hal was a dear friend . I enjoyed hearing his stories of the Sandy Creek area, as we were both familiar with the area .Hal and his wife Monique help my family in ways he will never know. I want to tell Mr. LaForce's family how grateful I am for his teaching. I'd say he taught me trig, but what he really taught me was not to let (math or other!) anxiety hold me back from what I was capable of doing. He was a gentle and considerate teacher (Which made it look like he was just really, really laid-back). May God bless you through this difficult time and wrap you in His loving arms.
