Obituary of Janice A. Valenti

Janice A. (McVicker) Valenti, 74, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully Friday, June 23rd. Janice was born September 26, 1942, in Syracuse, NY to the late William and Ann McVicker and graduated from Solvay High School. Jan served many years as Court Clerk in the Town of Manlius, as well as decades of volunteer work with several local charities and religious organizations. Survivors: her brother, William (Roselyn) McVicker, her children, Thomas Valenti of NYC, Lauren Meyer of Albany, Paul (Michele) Meyer of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and Michael (Molly) Valenti of Syracuse; her grandchildren, Morgan and Ashlyn Deubel, Sydney and Colin Meyer and Claire, Sophia and Michael Valenti; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Louis and granddaughter Laura Jane. Services: 10:00 am Wednesday at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Dr., Syracuse, NY 13219 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
