John D. Wright, 62, of Marcellus passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 at Van Duyn Center, after a long illness. Born in Syracuse, he previously worked for Dey Brothers as a cook. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Wright and his aunt, Marilyn (Al) Lawton.
Survivors: his mother, Joan Wright of Marcellus; his sisters, Carol Wright of Camillus and Lynn Wright of Westvale; nephew, Earl Monday of E. Syracuse; niece, Jessica DiBiasio of Auburn; several cousins.
Services: 1 pm Friday at First Baptist Church, 701 N. Main St., Central Square. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Cemetery.
