Obituary of Edgar E. Herzog

Edgar E. Herzog, 90, of Syracuse passed away quietly Wednesday after an illness. He was born in Vienna, Austria and would settle in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota. Ed was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. He was retired from General Electric after over 30 years of service. He was a longtime member IBEW. Ed was a great husband and family man. Survivors: his wife of 67 years, Jane (Cass) Herzog; son, Stephen (Tracy) Herzog; daughter, Sandra (John) Wardzala; son, Scot Herzog; Ryan, Shawn, Nicolas, Tiffany, Desiree, and Dawn; 4 great grandchildren. Services: A private family service was held. Burial with military honors was in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
