Dear Mrs. Hanley, Barb, and family, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Patty's death. She was a close friend when we were young and both living in Syracuse years ago. I have many good memories of times spent together, especially during our HS years. She accomplished much throughout her life and was a real advocate for others without a voice. Mrs. Hanley and Barb, I am so sorry to hear of Pat's death. She was so brilliant and accomplished and it was such a waste that she seemed to lose her way. I've have felt so sad to know where she has spent the last few years and now feel so guilty that I never found the time to visit.
