Obituary of Barbara J. Millar Dannon

Barbara Millar Dannon, 72, formerly of Syracuse, passed away on Oct 18, 2015 in Minneapolis, MN. Born in Syracuse, NY on November 20, 1942, she was a graduate of West Genesee Central High School, Camillus NY, and Syracuse University. After duty in the US Air Force, serving in Germany with the rank of Captain, she earned a degree in pharmacy at the University of Minnesota. Barbara lived and worked as a pharmacist in Ohio, Florida, and California. She and her husband retired in Minneapolis. Throughout her life, she most enjoyed literature and the arts. Barbara had the clear thinking and kindness of her parents. She preferred to listen, and was always careful of the feelings of others. Her understanding and empathy earned her the admiration and love of most. Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Noel and Connie Millar, of Syracuse and Camillus. Survivors: her husband, Victor Dannon, of Minneapolis; sisters, Nita Beaupre of Memphis, TN, Kay Millar of Salt Lake City, UT, Susan Millar of Plattsburgh, NY; 3 nephews of Germantown, TN. Services: 1:00 p.m. Monday November 9, graveside at Oakwood Cemetery, 940 Comstock Ave, Syracuse. There will be no calling hours.
