My prayers and condolences go out to the family of Patrick Rush. I would like to offer you a little story I remember about Pat when he was a student at Bishop Ludden. Pat was in my brother Ed Whiteside's class. I was a year younger. We lived on Terrace Dr. When Pat would miss the bus for Ludden because he overslept, my father would pick him up on Onondaga Rd. & drive him to school. However, my 2 brothers & I had been told by our father not to miss the bus because he was not going to drive us to school. After a while my father said to Pat that he'd better stop missing the bus because it seemed like it was becoming a regular habit.

Sorry to hear the news of Pat's passing. Most of my memories of him and his family were from the early days growing up, as I've spent most of my adult life outside of Syracuse. He was quite a character, and we all loved him. Love and condolences to the entire Rush Families.
