Obituary of Dewey S. Boshers

Dewey S. Boshers, 88, formerly of Baldwinsville, NY passed away July 1 in Valrico, FL. The son of the late Dewey and Mary Elizabeth Wright Boshers, he grew up in Covington, TN. During World War II he served in the Pacific as a member of the Frogmen, forerunners of the Navy Seals. He was the founder and owner of Dupli and Dewco Printing of Syracuse, NY. He married the late Eloise Cashman Boshers, with whom he had 3 children. Since 1986, he and his wife Christine Filosi Boshers have lived in Valrico, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Filosi Boshers; brother, Howard Boshers; children, Dewey Myles Boshers and partner Camelia Botez, Suzette Boshers Jefferson and husband Barry Jefferson, Howard Boshers and wife Tamara Boshers; grandchildren Jennifer Jefferson, Dustin Boshers, Jordan Boshers, Brandon Boshers, Rachel Boshers Castle, Emily Boshers Ramos, Evan Boshers, Erin Boshers; and great grandchildren Zyiad Boshers, Fox Castle, and Daniel Ramos.
Services: A calling hour will be 10 to 11 am Wednesday At Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St. Syracuse, NY. Burial with military honors follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pints for Prostates (www.pintsforprostates.org).
