James J. Sgarlata, age 77, passed peacefully in his home in Syracuse, New York on Saturday, May 23, 2015 with his loving wife and family by his side.
James was born February 4, 1938, in Canastota, New York, and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Christina Michel Sgarlata, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who will all lovingly remember him. James was preceded in death by his son Scott F. Sgarlata.
Graveside Service: will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 29, 2015 at St. Agatha's Cemetery, 329 North Peterboro St. Canastota, New York.
