To the family of Ms. Bordonaro,
I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. I had Ms. Bordonaro as my Biology teacher at Corcoran High School in 1970. I remember her as a dedicated and wonderful person. She took her job seriously, demanded respect yet made learning fun. She truly enjoyed teaching. May she rest in peace.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Ms. Bordonaro. I was a student of hers in Biology during my senior year at Onondaga Valley Academy. I remember her as a dedicated teacher who both motivated her students and cared about them. She symbolized the spirit of the school and was a role model for all. Valley will have its last reunion in July of 2015 and I know she will be fondly discussed and remembered by those attending that event. Please pass my condolences to her family for their loss. Ken Bowles - Class of 1960.

I was a student at Onondaga Valley Academy and took biology from Ms. Bordonaro in my sophomore year. She was an exceptional teacher and I still remember details of her class and some of our assignments.
It was a pleasure to know her and to be inspired to be your best in anything you do.
I am sorry for your loss. Joanne Miller, Class of 1960

My deepest sympathy and prayers to all of Josephine's relatives. The few times I met her it was quite evident that she valued education, not only in her personal life, but also in the lives of others. This is the legacy she leaves behind for her family, friends, and former students to embrace and to pass on for generations to come. "Well done good and faithful servant." Requiescat in Pace!
