Obituary of Lois W. Wonders

Lois W. Wonders, 91, of Syracuse, died February 15th 2015. Lois, daughter of Cassius and Helen Wardner, loving wife of Donald Wonders, passed away peacefully at Upstate Medical University. Born in Dolgeville, Lois was an accomplished local artist, and her painting are displayed throughout Central New York. She served as a radio operator in the Navy during WWII and was stationed at Chatham, Mass, where she met her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Donald, of Syracuse, her brother, Edward, and two sons Robert and Douglas. She is also survived by three grandchildren, all living in the Syracuse area. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Services: 11:30 a.m. Friday at Robinson Memorial United Presbyterian Church, 126 Terry Rd., Syracuse.
