Obituary of G. Valerie Duxbury

G. Valerie Duxbury May 24, 2010 G. Valerie "Val" DeClercq Duxbury, 95, of Westvale passed away Monday at St. Camillus. Born in Clifton Springs, she was a graduate of Spilt Rock High School. She was employed by Cherry Rd. School as a Cook Manager retiring in 1970. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and was a founding member of the Solvay-Geddes Vets. She was also a member of the Western Hills Senior Citizens and West Side Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1988. Survivors: three daughters, Ann (Richard) Tarolli of Solvay, Betty J. Duxbury of Westvale, Sally M. Shearer of Lima; granddaughters, Leah Shearer and Mary (Karl) Sieburg; many nieces and nephews. Services: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
