I had the priviledge of meeting both George (Jim) & Georgia thru Pauline & Burton Abbe. They were all wonderful people, who truly cared about their friends & church. They are all back together now, no need to cry, their in heaven.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May he rest in peace and may fond memories give you comfort.
My husband did music and a church service at Bellevue. We came to know George and we had a special spot in our hearts for him. He was always so pleasant and kind.
I remember that he told us his wife's name was Georgia and he always spoke so highly of her. My husband made sure he learned the song "Georgia" and he would sing it at Bellevue.
The amazing thing we found out after a time was that George retired from the Phone Company. My husband and I both worked and retired from the Phone Company also. We didn't come to Syracuse until 1987. What a small world.
God Bless,
Betsy Wilson
