I so enjoyed Buckshot in the three years I have worked at Westvale. Always a smile on his face and the devil in his eyes. Unfortunately, I only found out of his passing last night after calling hours had ended or I most certainly would have come to pay my respects to this sweet man. My heart is broken for his wonderful daughters. R.I.P. Buckshot

Uncle Cha will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was a very special person to us. He was our favorite uncle because he was always there for us with his "wit" and caring. Cha,Lorraine, Pam and Deb came to every family event in the Maywalt family over the years which made every occasion special.
I treasure the times I had with him on the golf course in Elmira and Auburn. His golf tips were always appreciated and added to my success there. Charlie, Lorraine, Bob and Millie played cards every Saturday during the winter months. Pam, Deb, Mary and Mike would visit and have long talks while they played. It was fierce competition between the women and men. I really think in the end that they women won but that report would certainly be contested by the men. Happy, happy memories that will always be treasured

To Buckshot's family:
Oh, my goodness, the stories I heard from my father-in-law, Ray Kolceski, about Bucky! They had so many escapades on the golf courses...not all of them are fit to print. Bucky was a true friend to Ray...bless him for his patience and kindness. Keeping Bucky and all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Deb & Pam, As I read your Dad's obituary this morning it brought a big smile to my face to, I have such good memories of him from when we were kids, mostly at Westvale, Bucky was very good to my mother(Angie)also to my kids who grew up at the course, he would let Danny drive the cart and help with things that had to be done. Always a friendly word and a smile, he was always there when anyone needed anything at the club. Here's to you Buckshot and to a life well lived. He was one of a kind, I send my thoughts and prayers to you at this time. God Speed Mate
Sincerely, Sue

What a blessing it has been to know Bucky while he was, “here on his visit from heaven”. I would like his family to know that his life and his willingness to live it to the fullest right to the end has touched me greatly. His presence will be missed, as will his many stories but Buckshot will live on through the laughter and wisdom in the retelling of his “Buckyisms”. You can bet your ass on that! Thanks for sharing Buckshot, you are indeed PERFECT!
Blessing,
Patty Reyna
