Obituary of Madeline V. Reese

Madeline V. “Ginny” Reese October 14, 2013 Madeline V. “Ginny” O’Brien Reese, 89, of Syracuse passed away Monday at St. Camillus Health & Rehab. Center. Born in Syracuse, she was a 1943 graduate of Most Holy Rosary High School and was employed by Cooperative Extension from 1971 to 1988. She was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, volunteered at St. Camillus and was a member of the Geddes Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard C. Reese in 1999. Survivors: her daughter, Sharon (Mark) Kaptan of East Syracuse; her son, Edward (Emily) Reese of Camillus; granddaughter, Krista Kaptan; and several nieces and nephews. Services: 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 417 S. Orchard Rd., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours will be 5 to 7p.m. Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home Inc., 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse.
