i met Jane when I was named Director of Volunteers at Crouse Hospital in 1994..Jane was a volunteer - the best kind! She was always gracious and gentle, steady and willing to do what needed to be done. I always looked forward to seeing and talking with her. She was special...one of the volunteers I missed most when I left Crouse Hospital in 2011. My condolences.

I remember Jane from when I was a volunteer at Crouse Hospital. She was the sweetest lady there. Whenever I saw her waiting for a bus, I would offer her a ride. I remember one time when my car was stuck in the snow about a block from her home that I went to her home and asked to use her phone to call my father. She had a rotary dial phone and she asked me if I remembered how to use one. She calmed me down with that remark and her and I sat and talked until my dad arrived. I will miss her.

Jane was a customer of mine for many years and I considered her one of my friends. She was a wonderful women. My heart goes out to Ann. I know how much it hurts to lose your mom, especially one as great as yours. Diane (her hairdresser for over 25 years)
