Obituary of B. Jane Herzog

Beverly Jane (B. Jane Cass) Herzog 98, of Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 22nd at the Loretto Nursing Home in Syracuse, NY. She was born in Endicott, NY on July 11, 1925. She attended High School in Endicott, NY and graduated in 1942 then attended and graduated from Grove City College in 1946. B. Jane married the love of her life, Edgar (Ed) E. Herzog on September 2, 1955. She worked at IBM in Endicott then Syracuse until the arrival of her three children. B. Jane was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Robinson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Syracuse serving in many roles supporting various community activities on behalf of the church. She and Ed were long time members of the Drumlins Golf Club and enjoyed traveling the world in their retirement years. B. Jane also truly enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren, was an active member in the Syracuse Garden club and enjoyed her weekly bridge game with her friends.

She was pre-deceased by the love of her life, Ed (2017); her parents, Edward and Edna Cass; sister Phyllis Jean (Cass) Tate.

Survivors: daughter, Sandra Jean Wardzala (John); sons, Scot Walter Herzog and Stephen Cass Herzog (Tracy); granddaughters, Tiffany Patton (Nick), Desiree Perry (Nathan), Dawn Herzog; grandsons, Ryan Cass Herzog (Katherine), Shawn Anthony Herzog (Kristen), Nicholas Stephen Herzog; great grandchildren, Talon Patton, Nicholas McMillen, Alyssa McMillen, Zariana Perry, Anthony James Herzog and Eva Lee Herzog.

A private family gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 1st with a Service to follow at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St. Syracuse. Burial will be private at the Onondaga Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
