Brenda J. Edwards

Was born on November 3, 1951 in Kentucky, to James Holliday and Mary Woods. She died March 27, 2024 at Loretto of Syracuse, NY at the age of 73 years young. Preceded her in death, her eldest son, James Bonee; her parents, and both husbands.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memories, her 2 children; son, Tim Bonee and daughter, Amanda (Tony) Sgarlata; 5 grandchildren, April Newby, Brandon Green, Kayla Bonee, Harley Sgarlata and AJ Sgarlata; 3 great grandchildren, Mya, Blaize and Raelynn; sister, Diana Solano and brothers, Terry Holliday, Johnny Holliday.

Brenda lived a full life, homesteading with her children, traveling with extended family and friends and finding her final home with her daughter in Pennellville, NY. She also survived lung cancer and kept living life to the final end. She enjoyed a good cup of coffee, food network, autumn colors and an occasional lunch date for sushi with her grand daughter, Harley. Her favorite quote in life was, “You don’t know what ya got till it’s gone”.
