Obituary of Marilyn L. Frost Cariseo

Marilyn L. (Klink) Frost Cariseo 86, of Syracuse passed away at home peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Marilyn was the daughter of the late Edwin and Helen (Schaknoske) Klink and was born on October 28, 1937. She was raised on the north side of Syracuse, attended North High, and was one of fourteen children. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church in Syracuse for many years. Always caring for people, she worked as a nurse for many years at St. Camillus before retiring and caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She was pre deceased by her first husband, Edward Frost in 1979, she remarried "PaPa" Richard Cariseo in 1986, who passed away in July 2015.  She was also predeceased by her brothers, Edwin Jr, Gerry, and Martin and by her sisters, Doris Prochna, Karlene Capone, Joan Osterhout, and Rita Cutri.

Survivors: Her daughter, Sheri Frost of Syracuse; son, David (Virginia) Frost of Liverpool; son-in-law, Leonard Zollo; grandchildren, Justin (Tiffany) Zollo of Syracuse, Lindsay (Matthew) Zollo of Jordan, Courtney (Jesse) Zollo of Syracuse, and Monica Frost of  Liverpool; great grandchildren, Donato, Carmen, and Miriam Zollo; Juliet and Hazel Pyke, and Laila David. Brothers, Richard, Jimmy (Roseanne), and Thomas (Mary) Klink; sisters, Helen Seeburger, Linda Digiorgio, and Theresa (Frank) Formica along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be 2 to 5pm Sunday, December 3, at Tindall Funeral Home 1921 W Genesee St. Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Monday, December 4, at Holy Family Church, Fairmount. Burial will be 1pm Thursday, December 7, at Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
