Obituary of William Byron Craner Jr.

William B. Craner, Jr., of Syracuse, New York, passed quietly in his sleep at his home on Sunday, November 19, 2023. 

Bill loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was retired from Cazenovia Central Schools in 2005 as Head Custodian. In addition, he loved his loving dog, Junie as well as attending concerts and spending time with family, especially at a camp on Oneida Lake. 

William is survived by his sons Michael (Heather) and Brian (Katrina) and his grandchildren Lauren and Andrew (Michael) and Devyn and Logan (Brian); as well as his 6 siblings, Stephen(Connie), Gary(Kathy, deceased), Timothy(Cindy Mahar), Bonnie, Dennis(Susan), Patrick (Carina), several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be 2pm to 3pm Friday, November 24 at Tindall Funeral Home 1921 W Genesee St. Syracuse. A memorial service will follow at 3pm. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt at a later date.
