Obituary of Marcia J. Cosgrove
Marcia J. (Nosavage) Cosgrove, 76, of Camillus passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Syracuse she attended Sacred Heart, graduated from The Convent School and would later graduate from CCBI with her legal secretary degree. Marcia started with Bond, Schoeneck and King and would retire from Commonfund Mortgage after 22 years. While raising her children, she taught figure skating and was a member of the Salt City Figure Skating Club and Camillus Figure Skating Club. Marcia would pass her passion for skating on to her daughter who would later skate for the Ice Capades. Her greatest love was her family, especially following her children and grandchildren in all their activities.
Marcia was predeceased by her sister, Cynthia Schrank.
Survivors: her husband of 56 years, John Cosgrove; daughter, Deanna (Patrick) Ballentine; son, Todd (Donna) Cosgrove; grandchildren, Meghan Ballentine, Chloe Ballentine, Erinn Cosgrove and Ian Cosgrove; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be 10am to 12pm Wednesday, November 22, at Tindall Funeral Home. A funeral service will be 12pm Wednesday, Novemeber 22, at the funeral home 1921 W Genesee St. Burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
