Obituary of Carole Gallagher

Carole (McIntyre) Gallagher, 72, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 11, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Syracuse, NY, she completed high school at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central, in Burnt Hills, NY. Upon graduation, Carole returned to Syracuse and worked at Modern Kitchens, Inc. for 13 years as an inventory clerk. In 1980, she married Michael Gallagher and enjoyed 39 years of marriage until Michael’s passing in 2019. Carole loved camping, NASCAR, and crafts with a special talent for crocheting.

She is predeceased by Michael and her parents, Norman and Alberta McIntyre.  

Survivors include her brother and sister in-law, John and Susan McIntyre of Palm Harbor, FL; nieces, Kristina (Hiren) Patel of Singapore and Kathleen (Stephen) Hellmer of Orlando, FL; and great-nephews Asher and John.

A calling hour will be 12pm to 1pm Saturday, July 15, at Tindall Funeral Home. A service will follow at 1pm also at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St. Interment will be at 9:30 am, Tuesday, July 18, at the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
