Ronnie Paxson was a gift from heaven. I'll always remember Ronnie's kindness, walking kids to and from Cherry Road School, every single day, walking with his radio. He taught me how to be kind to others. RIP Ronnie

To the family and CNY Community of Ronald Paxson, We extend our deepest condolences. Ronnie was a “Ray of Sunshine” in our lives and anyone who met him.
Our last memorable meeting with him was at the Grand after the Oz Parade in 2019. We , as well as he, were able to be part of the Parade and he was so happy about it. COVID hit, but we were to keep in touch with cards that we know he enjoyed. We will miss him as we know so many others will. ♥️ Dick and Karin Thomas &Family

My most sincere condolences to Ronnie's family, friends and survivors on the occasion of his passing. Growing up in Westvale, Ronnie was a big part of the fabric of our neighborhood here. My parents bought our house in Westvale in 1953 (moving from Tipp Hill) when I was 2&1/2 yrs. old, so I knew Ronnie from an early age. I never heard him utter a cross word at anybody; everybody knew him, and he was one of the happiest, most content souls I ever met. I ran into him at a doctor's office a couple of years ago, re-introduced myself to him, and had a short, but extremely pleasant chat with him. It was so refreshing to see him again! God is looking after him now; and I hope to see him again some day. Rest In Peace, Ronnie; that boombox works in Heaven, too! John Corbett

I was in 3rd grade when my brothers and I arrived in Westvale in the mid to late sixties. We found Cherry Rd School during our first summer and Ronnie found us.
Ronnie welcomed us to the neighborhood with the performance of his one man plays, with the aid of his boombox.
After that summer Ronnie was a fond memory where he remains to this day.
I never knew where Ronnie lived nor any of his family. Reflecting back to those early days, I guess I just viewed Ronnie as a Westvale family member that roamed the neighborhood visiting and performing for his little neighborhood brothers and sisters at Cherry Road School.
So thank you Ronnie's family for putting his memorial video together and Tindall Funeral Home for making it available online, I learned so much more about Ronnie that I ever knew about him.
I'm reminded of Paul Harvey's words, 'Now you know the rest of Ronnie's story"
Godspeed Ronnie, Ronnie's Family, and the residents of Westvale that called Ronnie their neighbor and friend.

My condolences on the passing of Ron. I grew up in Westvale and remember him well on the Cherry Road School playground and as an adult on Sunday at church. He was a very kind and gentle giant. Lynn Millis Evans
