Obituary of Deborah Lynn Bliss

Deborah L. (Wieszczynski) Bliss, 64, of Syracuse passed away Wednesday peacefully at home surrounded by family. Born in Syracuse she attended Most Holy Rosary School and Nottingham High School. Deborah worked 13 years as director of the after school program for Most Holy Rosary. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and teaching them gardening, baking, arts and crafts, crocheting, and enjoying music.

Deborah was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Genevieve Wieszczynski; daughter, Patricia Bliss; brother, John Wieszczynski; sister, Valerie Coleman; brother, Stanley Wieszczynski.

Survivors: her husband of 48 years, Patrick "Rick" Bliss; daughters, Melissa (Tim) Turk, Jessica (Ruben) Rosado, Teri Marie Bliss; brother, Henry Wieszczynski; sister, Jennifer Riker; grandchildren, Kyle, Roo, Tony, P.J., Bella, Lil B; special cousin, Annie O.; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Monday, June 5, from 4 to 6:30pm at Tindall Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will follow at 6:30pm at the funeral home 1921, W Genesee St.
