To Marty,s family: I was surprised and saddened to read of Marty,s passing in today's paper. He was a dedicated parishioner at our beloved Holy Trinity Church where I was a member for 70+ years. He always had positive ideas at our parish council meetings and was ready to volunteer for anything. I'll remember him for his wonderful positive attitude and sense of humor. I'm as sure as I can be that Marty has been welcomed into Paradise and that he and God are enjoying each others' company. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this trying time. Marie and family: So sorry for your loss. I loved Marty "Ugh"'s sense of humor. I used to wave at him in the mornings while on my way up Canal street. He would always be outside the water department when I went by, and I razzed him about always being on break. He was always fun at Mike Donovan 's picnics, and cooked a perfect hamburger! He's manning the grill in heaven, I'm sure! My sincere condolences!

I am deeply saddened to hear of my friend Marty's passing. He helped me grow up and become a better person. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. May Marie and all of Marty's family and friends be blessed with peace during their time of mourning. May Marty's memory be a blessing.
