Obituary of David Stanley Dattler

David Stanley Dattler, 66, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Upstate University Hospital after a brief illness. He was born to the late Charles and Genevieve Dattler in Syracuse on March 13, 1956. He graduated from Westhill High School and most recently worked at Cryomech Inc. David enjoyed fishing, hiking, road trips, photography and spending time with his cats.

David was predeceased by his brother, Charles in 2022.

David is survived by his four brothers James (Kathy) Dattler, Dennis (Rosemary) Dattler, Donald Dattler, Richard (Karen) Dattler, four sisters Doreen (Bill) Wilkins, Deborah Putzer, Marcia Dattler and Susan Aaserud and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

As per David’s request, there will no services and his body will be donated to the SUNY Anatomical Gift Program.
