Obituary of William R. Zipprich

William "Bill" Zipprich, 71, of Syracuse passed away Tuesday at home surrounded by his family. Born in Syracuse, he was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School, Onondaga Community College, and attended Syracuse University. Bill retired from Verizon after over 35 years where he worked in various positions. He was very proud of his numerous perfect attendance awards and as he would say, "I never missed a day of work". Bill was a member of the Adelphi Club, Pastimes Athletic Club, as well as many bowling and golf leagues. He took great enjoyment in watching all his nephew's sporting events and is remembered by them as "never missing a game".

Survivors: his wife Bonnie; his brother, Mike Zipprich (Debbie Menter); nephews, Mark (Emily), Derek, Drew, and Jason Zipprich.

Services: 3:30pm Monday July 18, at Tindall Funeral Home. A calling hour will be 2pm to 3:30pm prior to the service at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St. The family requests all visitors wear masks.
