Obituary of Elizabeth D. McGann

Elizabeth Drezwick McGann, 83, of Solvay and a summer resident of her camp on Lake Ontario passed away Saturday under the loving care of her children. Mrs. McGann was married to the late Richard Francis McGann for over 60 years. She was an avid homemaker who took care of her husband, family, and cats. She loved cooking, gardening, cardinals, blue jays, her Blue Willow china collection, and she was a wonderful seamstress. Mrs. McGann had a very strong faith in God and was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She had a generous heart for life, neighbors, family, husband, and enjoyed the summer breeze of the Lake Ontario. Survivors: her children, Richard T. McGann, Colleen A. (Joe) Rommel of Clearwater, FL, Deborah L. McGann, Thomas M. McGann; three grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard F. McGann, her daughter, Mary L. Novak, and granddaughter, Jennifer Novak. Services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Church, 216 N. Lowell Ave, Syracuse where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum, DeWitt. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Syracuse, NY 13211
