Obituary of Laura O. McMahon

Laura O. McMahon, 55, of Syracuse, NY, passed away on Friday, July 23. Laura was born in East Syracuse where she graduated from East Syracuse-Minoa High School. She worked for AdvantageCare Physicians in Syracuse. She was also a Licensed Massage Therapist. Laura was predeceased by her parents, William and Gale Owen. Among many things, Laura loved to spend time at her family camp, where you could always find her in the water. She enjoyed gatherings with friends and family, especially ones that included fireworks. 

Survivors: Laura is survived by her sisters, Becky Owen and Trisha (Matt) Helfrich; her children, Valerie (Josh) Hare, Douglas McMahon, Nicholas McMahon; and two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services: Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 pm Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY. As per her wishes, a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held, date to be determined.
