Obituary of John Frederick Kaiser

On April 13th, 2021 John F. Kaiser lost his battle with cancer. He was 71 years old. John was born on September 1st, 1949 in Syracuse, NY. He graduated from Nottingham High School in 1969 and enlisted in the United States Navy. He served in the Vietnam War as a Navy Corpsman and was honorably discharged in 1973. John enjoyed a long career with the United States Postal Service and relocated to Foley, AL upon retiring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Barbara Kaiser; siblings, Edmund, Barbara, Robert, Stephen, and Michael; and nephew Jacob.

John is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Dunster and her four children; siblings, Ann Reddick and Susan (John) Andrews of Gulf Shores, AL, Patrick (Terri) Kaiser of Foley, AL, Paul (Sheri) Kaiser of Raleigh, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

John had a generous spirit and was always quick to offer encouragement or a helping hand. He enjoyed spending time with family, all things hi-tech and sci-fi, and riding his Harley. John’s kindness and booming laugh will be missed by many.

He will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in DeWitt, NY. Services will be private.
