Please pass on my condolances to Sister Francis and the family. I sent a mass card to the last address I had which was Buffalo and it was returned today. Sister's name was mentioned at St. Charles so there are many who remember both fondly. There are a number of St. Charles parishioners who welcomed Sr. JJ to her new home in heaven. Michael Sochor (nephew of the deceased) came by St. Charles Borromeo Church in Port Charlotte, FL to let us know of Sister JJ's passing. I, being a new volunteer in the office, did not handle his visit as well as I would have liked. Please know Sister JJ's name was added to the list of the Faithfully Departed and prayed for during all our Masses on Devine Mercy Sunday (4/11/21). An announcement will be in our weekly bulletin and I will personally have a Mass said for her on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 7 am. I find it hard to believe that another beloved relative is gone. So many memories come rushing in of holidays shared, vacations, too. Picnics, berry picking, mushroom hunting. Sitting under our car port and laughing, oh, so much. Aunt Flo, I'm sure you were greeted with open arms by Mom, Dad, Terry, Tommy and Laurie. We will surely miss you. What a prayer warrior we have, I love her and she trained me at St.Charles to be a great teacher of the Word. No one can replace her and she is forever a part of my soul. toni fisher
