Funeral Mass Eulogy

Dolores (Pestillo) Lennon, 74, a lifelong resident of Solvay passed away on March 19, 2021. Dolores grew up in Solvay and attended Solvay High School. After high school she started a family while working at the family business, Reliable Plumbing and Heating. After her children were older, she earned her associates degree in accounting from Onondaga Community College. After college she was employed by Syracuse University and then went on to work and retire from New York State at CNY DSO. She was a communicant of St. Charles and formerly St. Brigid’s. She always knew her greatest accomplishment was her family. After retirement she was an avid supporter of Rosamond Gifford Zoo. 

Dolores was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bob” Lennon.

She is survived by her son, Gordon Leete, Jr.; a daughter, Jacqueline Lennon, and a grandson, Gordon Leete; her sister, Brenda Pestillo, and a brother, John (Gina) Pestillo, and several nieces and nephews.

Services: A calling hour will be 9am to 10am Saturday March 27, at St. Charles Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Livestream of the Mass begins at 10am at facebook.com/TINDALLFH. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. 

Current NYS COVID guidelines requiring masks, social distancing and occupancy limits will be observed.
