Obituary of Paul J. Ginnelly

Paul J. Ginnelly of Brewerton, passed peacefully on October 29 and entered into Heaven to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Paul was born on December 31, 1933 to Ambrose and Ann Ginnelly.

He was a graduate of Solvay High School, Syracuse University and Syracuse College of Law. Paul was a navigator in the United States Air Force for six years and achieved the rank of Captain. Following Law School, he was in private practice. Paul was the original attorney in the New York Screener Program, now known as Hiscock Legal Aid Society. He was the Principal Attorney for the NYS Grievance Committee for 22  years. The NYS Legislative Resolution of March 19, 1996 cites his patience, understanding, fairness and honesty, Paul mediated cases between lawyers and their clients.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Pamela. Also surviving are his children, Gregory, Paula, Robert and David, and many cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert.
