I was looking to reconnect with David after many years we'd parted ways in Gansevoort, NY. He gave me the best golf tip of my life that I still repeat every time I hit an iron -- "Ken, hit down on the ball." Sorry to read of hi s passing.

Hello, I am so sorry and shocked to hear of the passing of Dave. I was friends with his daughter Katelyn when they lived in Gansevoort, NY. Katelyn ans Brandon, this must be such a tough time for you and your family. Send my sincere condolences to you. Birdman was a great friend. We shared many hours on the golf course together, talking about music, Dave loved his guitars, driving to Rochester’s House of Guitars to find the perfect acoustic Gibson. One of our memorable times together is when we went to a Tommy Emmanuel concert and went back stage to meet Tommy. We took pictures of us together with Tommy, just a fun time. Dave was well respected on the golf course and will surely be missed by all, RIP my friend

To Dave’s family and friends I am so sad to hear of Dave’s sudden passing. Kevin Sullivan introduced me to Dave a few years ago and we instantly bonded. He was truly a gentleman. I enjoyed golfing with Dave and talking to him about his family and his travels. Dave was a good guy and Sully and I will miss golfing with him. My condolences to you all.
