Elizabeth L. Aigeltinger September 18, 2012 Elizabeth L. Enright Aigeltinger, 87, of Westvale passed away Tuesday after a long illness. Born in Syracuse, she attended Vocational High School. Betty had previously worked for John Deere before becoming a homemaker. She was a longtime communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church. Betty grew up as part of a large family on Tipp Hill and was proud of her Irish heritage. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was a friend to everyone. She was predeceased by her husband William R. Aigeltinger in 2005. Survivors: daughters, Joan Applebaum of E. Syracuse and Mary Ann Aigeltinger of Westvale; son, William J. Aigeltinger of Syracuse; sister, Anne Ostrander of Liverpool; grandchildren, SGT Michael L. Applebaum USMC, Specialist Benjamin D. Applebaum USA, Katherine Applebaum; several nieces and nephews. Services: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
