Obituary of Eva I. Travers

Eva I. Brinkerhoff Travers, 84, lifetime resident of Howlett Hill passed away at home September 1st. It is impossible to measure the impact her life has had on adoring family and friends. She was known for being the best friend a person could ever have and for finding laughter and joy in everyday of living. Eva worked all of her life in various occupations, most notably as manager of Marianne Shop in Camillus. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Richard and her granddaughter, Carrie Reagan. Survivors: daughters, Sandra (Robert) Stickney and Gail Travers; her sister, Sharon Herrling; grandsons, Justin (Jennifer) Clarke and Andrew (Linda) Reagan; great grandsons, Eamon Willougby and Sam Reagan; and her best friend, Kathy Smiley. Services: 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Tindall Funeral Home. A calling hour will be 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St, Syracuse. Burial for family will be in Howlett Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Howlett Hill Fire Department, 3384 Howlett Hill Road Syracuse, New York 13215
