Obituary of Carolyn E. Fay

Carolyn E. Fay, 51, of Westvale passed away unexpectedly Tuesday. Born in Syracuse, she attended West Genesee High School and Bryant and Stratton. Carolyn worked the last 11 years for Schindler Elevator as an office administrator. She had a love for crafting and was involved with many shows in upstate New York. Carolyn loved bowling and attending her nephew's hockey games. For many years she enjoyed spending time with family at their camp on Fourth Lake in Old Forge.

She was predeceased by her mother Mary D. Fay in 2010.

Survivors: her father, Jerry Fay; sisters, Kathy (Gregg Root) Fay and Kim (Pat) Fox; niece, Stephanie Mohorter and nephew, Joe Carino; and her beloved dog, Dunkin.

Services: 10 am Tuesday at St. Charles Church, 417 South Orchard Rd., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4-7pm Monday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W Genesee St., Syracuse.
