Obituary of Donald E. Wonders
Donald. Wonders, 94, of Syracuse, died January 17 2019. Donald, son of Carey and Caroline Wonders, loving husband of Lois Wonders, passed away peacefully at Loretto Fahey.
Born in Johnstown, PA, Donald was a Scoutmaster for a local Boy Scout Troop. He served as a radio operator in the Navy during WWII and was stationed at Chatham, Mass, where he met his wife.
He is survived by his two sons, Robert and Douglas. He is also survived by three grandchildren, all living in the Syracuse area.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be private with burial in Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.
