Obituary of Helen Coogan
Helen Coogan, 102, of Syracuse passed away Monday at Loretto. Born in E. Syracuse she was a graduate of E. Syracuse High School. Helen had worked for Syracuse China. She was a communicant of St. Peter's Church. Helen and her husband Fran loved fishing year round, especially ice fishing.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Francis Coogan in 1962; three brothers, Michael Jr., John, and Steven; sisters, Ann and Mary.
Survivors: her brother, William Jamelske; several nieces and nephews.
Services: 1:30pm Monday at the Church of Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
