David G. Panczysyn, 51, of Syracuse died unexpectedly at home. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. David graduated from Corcoran High School. He worked at Nojaim's, Loblaw's, and formerly the Hotel Syracuse. David was a gentle person with a large heart and tried to help whomever needed a hand. He enjoyed cooking, sports, poker with his buddies, telling stories, picking his numbers in hopes of winning a million, and going out to dinner on Wednesday or Fridays with his usual comments that "I don't care where we go, as long as somebody feeds me!" He will be greatly missed by many people. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard A. and Dorothy L. Panczysyn, his brother Paul Panczysyn, and nephew Brad Baldwin. Survivors: his sisters, Janet (Amanda) Furco of Cazenovia, Elizabeth (Tad) McKinney of Syracuse and Rose (John) Murray of West Hartford, CT, nephews, Nicholas and Matthew (Krysta), Shane, and Jay Murray; niece Yolanda Jones; great nephew Logan Shane; aunts Mary Craner and Shirley Cummings, as well as many cousins. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Tindall Funeral Home. There will be a calling hour from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 1921 W. Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Rescue Mission at 155 Gifford Street, Syracuse, New York 13202.
