Obituary of H. Agnes Ellison

H. Agnes Ellison June 10, 2012 H. Agnes Ellison, 89, of Syracuse passed away peacefully Sunday morning. Agnes was predeceased by her loving husband, Elwood "Woody" Ellison Jr. with whom she spent 62 years raising and loving their family. Survivors: daughters, Patricia Linehan and Teresa Lamoureaux of Syracuse, Sandra Mills of Austin, TX; her son, Elwood C. (Charlie) Ellison III of Hollywood, FL. Agnes is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Agnes was a member of the Terrytown Garden Club and was the #1 NY Mets fan. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Syracuse Home in Baldwinsville. Their care, concern, and professionalism touched our hearts. Services: 9 a.m. Saturday at Tindall Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Basilica of the Sacred Heart, 927 Park Ave., Syracuse where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes. A calling hour will be 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St. E. Syracuse, NY 13057.
