Genevieve M. Dattler, 90, of Syracuse passed away Saturday, April 7. Born in Syracuse, she enjoyed traveling, camping, quilting, knitting, and her grandchildren. For many years Gen and her husband, Chuck spent winters in St. Petersburg, FL. Gen is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Charles F. Dattler, and two brothers.
Survivors: sons, Charles R., James (Kathy), Dennis (Rosemary), David, Donald (Sherri), Richard (Karen); daughters, Doreen (William) Wilkins, Deborah (Robert) Putzer, Marcia Dattler, Susan (Daniel) Aaserud. She has 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Services: For family only will be Thursday at Tindall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours will be from 4 to7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Golisano Children's Hospital At Upstate, 750 East Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13210
