Obituary of Theresa A. Bordonaro

Theresa A. Bordonaro, 85, of Fairmount passed away Sunday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she served in the US Naval Reserve. She was a 1982 graduate of Onondaga Community College. Theresa worked for the US Railroad Retirement Board as a contact representative for 26 years, until she retired in 1981. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church, was a member of the Senior Food Pantry and the Holy Family Senior Citizens. She was also a member of the Fairmount Golden Agers and the kitchen staff of Meals On Wheels in Fairmount. She loved being a second mother to her many nieces and nephews. Survivors: sisters, Josephine F. Bordonaro of Camillus, Lee V. Maroney of Daytona Beach, FL, Carolyn M. Chini of Camillus; brother, Charles J. Bordonaro of Swarthmore, PA; 7 nieces and 4 nephews. Services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Tindall Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 1921 W Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive, Syracuse, NY 13219
