Lucille C. Russo, 88, of Lakeland passed away Friday. Born in Syracuse she was employed by Syroco for 12 years. Lucille was a member of Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God Church. She loved the Yankees, gardening, her dog and was a devoted servant of God. Lucille was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by all. She was predeceased by her husband, James F. Russo in 1997, sisters, Viola and Sarah, and her brother Bernie.
Survivors: her children, Joseph J. Russo, James J. Russo, Petrina M. Russo, and Jan A. Russo; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 9 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Virgin Mary Mother of God Church, 450 Wilkinson Street (Corner of N. Geddes). Burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
